I think it is great that people see the benefits of online communities because now more than ever, retention is the foundation for growth. 60% of customers conduct research and consider new alternatives before renewal. Engaging and championing customers is a crucial part of a growth strategy.
However, I believe it is essential to take a step back and consider which online communities are appropriate for our business and worth the investment.
