Development update 18th October

Here is a round-up of the latest development work on the Zapnito platform
Development update 18th October

It's been a few weeks since my last update and i'm sorry that i've left it so long. Over the last few weeks the developers have been hard at work creating the new pages for the registration flow, but because there isn't anything live on the site yet i haven't wanted to update you with 'work in progress'.

While these pages are being built we've also been busy making other changes around the platform that I'll describe below.

Edit your questions and answers

Some of you will be very happy to hear that we've added an 'edit' option to the Q&A page. This means that if you're the author of a question or answer you can go back and edit it rather than having to delete and repost. We've also added an ability called 'moderate Q&A' which gives the user the ability to edit any questions and answers on the site. If you'd like any groups on your site to have this ability then please drop me a line.

Save to PDF

You may have noticed that our 'save to pdf' button was being displayed across all content types, which meant that - in theory - you could try to save a pdf into a pdf! This has been fixed and so now that button is only shown on post content.

Registration page password

We've updated the 'set your password' stage in the registration process so that now if you get your 'confirmed password' wrong it doesn't clear the rest of the fields on the page.

Microsoft Edge

We've done a raft of updates on the platform to make sure that everyone who uses Microsoft Edge can view the site successfully - especially the new authoring pages and profile image upload.

Work continues on our cycle 4 theme the 'registration and on-boarding process' and i'll keep you up to date with any changes as they happen. In the meantime if you have any questions please let me know
