No limit to the potential of AI
As Springer Nature’s Grand Challenges reports, a robot called Pluribus has beaten top human professionals at poker, which is the first time that an artificial-intelligence programme has beaten elite human players at a game with more than two players. According to its creator, this lays the foundation for future AIs to tackle significant real-world problems such as automated negotiations, fraud detection and self-driving cars.
