Zapnito. Be the destination for expertise
Zapnito enables organisations to create, share, promote and monetise expertise. Used by publishers, associations and other knowledge providers, Zapnito’s products can be used to create standalone ‘expert networks’ or to add real-time, expertise-sharing discussions to existing websites. Customers include Springer Nature, McGraw-Hill, Elsevier, the Institution of Engineering and Technology, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
Hard-won expertise and knowledge are being lost in the noise of the Internet and its social networks. To solve this problem, Zapnito was developed to allow expert-led organisations of every type to reclaim the value of their knowledge. Founded by professionals from the media and technology industries, we strive to enable our customers to reclaim their brand and their audience; to educate, inspire and foster more valuable relationships with their market.
Zapnito’s vision is to return to the original purpose of the Internet: collective intelligence through trusted sources of expertise.
About our products
Zapnito’s first product, Knowledge Networks, is used to create hubs of knowledge- and expertise-sharing. With multimedia content publishing, member directories, user profiles, Q&A tools and more, Knowledge Networks is the complete solution for any organisation looking to better share its expertise and facilitate the sharing of expertise by others.
Zapnito’s new product, Knowledge Feeds, is designed to be embeddable into any website to make it a destination for real-time, expertise-sharing discussion. Knowledge Feeds helps organisations reclaim and get closer to their audience through social engagement that they can curate and control.
Zapnito & Silverchair
Zapnito’s founders have been working with Silverchair on product development since 2016. The Knowledge Network product integrates with Silverchair’s platform (through widgets and Single Sign On), to enable expert collaboration and content creation by editors, authors and members. Integration of Knowledge Feeds is expected in 2018. Thane Kerner, Silverchair’s founder and CEO was an early investor in Zapnito.
